Professional Overthinker

About me.

Due to a simple biological fact, I was born. Immediately after, I began the exhausting process of being raised. Somewhere along the way, I realized that self-expression would be a lifelong struggle, and criticism—sometimes labelled as cynicism or sarcasm—would become one of my more refined talents. Occasionally, I even stumble upon a brilliant observation about life.

Early Development & Education:

Throughout my childhood, I masterfully balanced my education with the demanding task of watching TV. At 13, I received my first camera—a Pentax K1000, a beautifully fundamental machine with a light meter and a structure so solid you could hammer nails into concrete with it. Somehow, I matured (allegedly) and achieved academic recognition in multiple fields:

• BA – Because sounded respectable.

• LLB – To understand the rules I was always breaking.

• MBA – To scientifically prove business makes no sense.

Photography & Gear Evolution:

My passion for photography has endured as a key part of my reality. I first became a Nikon aficionado, partly due to Paul Simon’s Kodachrome hit song and partly because holding Nikon gear felt like a spiritual experience. For years, I lugged around suitcases filled with bodies and lenses, believing that weight equated to artistic integrity. Eventually, wisdom (or back pain) led me to Fuji gear—smaller, lighter, and just as capable. This shift directly influenced my photographic style, proving that sometimes less is more (except when it comes to sarcasm). Photography, as an art, begins where most others end: while painters, writers, and sculptors start with a blank canvas, photographers begin with a full one. The challenge is not only creating but framing—choosing which slice of reality is worth capturing.

Skills & Expertise

✔ Fluent in sarcasm and whisky -based decision-making.

✔ Adept at looking busy while doing absolutely nothing.

✔ Highly skilled in remembering obscure historical facts while forgetting where I left my keys.

✔ PhD in progress (by which I mean: on indefinite hold, pending motivation).
